Lady with a mo – TV Gold!

OMG this is fantastic! and everyone is up in arms.

There is no medical condition other than perhaps paraplegic who has no helper that stops you shaving. Basic hygiene for a female is to remove body hair often, legs, armpits etc. No its not NECESSARY, but if you dont do it then yes people ARE going to notice.
Its almost as silly as having a strange haircut, make up, or clothes, and then wondering why everyone is pointing at you and laughing. Human nature itself makes us notice people who are different. There’s nothing wrong with it, but you do have to expect that they will notice.

What Hole? R13

So,  Guys may not want to read this, or anyone  whos squeemish.

My daughter is going on womanhood, and been going through all the usual changes. Explaining how to put a pad into her knickers was easy enough and a diagram of basic facts was over pretty quick. Most of the embrassing stuff we managed to muddle through. Then on the weekend she had to go to a friends birthday party. It was a pool party, and for her, the wrong time of month.

So i suggested perhaps she try a tampon … a fairly normal idea for a girl. So she agreed, we figured because she was active she wouldnt have much or any Hymen to  get in the way.

So she goes into the bathroom, comes out a bit later and asks ..’where do i put it?’ and im like going ‘ummm ….. in the middle hole ….. you know theres a rear hole for poop, and the lip/fold things …’ lets just say i was really red faced, but ended up making her go look in a mirror and have a good self examination.

She sorted it out thank god, the whole idea of ‘what hole’ though never occurred to me before i suppose (i forget how exactly i learnt!). Anyway this isnt what my post was about so much ….

Im donating a kidney to my brother in the coming months, and they wanted to redo a liver function test and get results of the latest smear test. I was due to have smear test so booked in and went this morning.

So im laying there on the bed with nothing on the lower half, whilst the doctor is sitting there with a plastic speculum going in, and for some reason the thought ran through my mind ‘what if a gyno didnt know what hole?’

So of course im laying there giggling away and getting some really strange looks from the lady doing it, meanwhile im imagining replies of ‘well theres no sign of cancer … but your ecoli reading is off the roof!’

The Relationship between Beards and Sucessful Programming Languages

http://maple-news.com/2008/05/25/the-relation-between-beards-and-the-succes-of-programming-languages/

Lets see how successful are a few programming languages.

The F# Language.

This is its creator, Don Syme. He doesn’t have a beard, which means his Programming language won’t be a big success.

Next- Prolog.

Look at Alain Colmerauer’s face. No beard – no success!

Now, C.

Ken Thompson, Brian Kernighan and Dennis Ritchie all have a beard (more or less :D ) and as we all know C is one of the most succssesful programming languages.

C++

C++ is still one of the most popular programming languages – but it is getting more and more unpopular. Lets see why:

So, why does this happen?

Look at Bjarne Stroustrup’s face – now and then:

1.

2.

3.

Basic:

Basic was once one of the most popular programming languages – but today it is very unpopular. Do you ask why? Here is the answer – Thomas Eugene Kurtz’s (the creator) beard of course!

Then:

Now:

Perl

Perl is still a pretty common programming language.

Larry Wall – Good Job!

Python and Ruby.

Recently these two programming languages became very popular. You obviously know why…

Guido van Rossum (python)

And Yukihiro “Matz” Matsumoto (Ruby)
:D
Last, but not least- Java

Look at James Gosling’s beard. Did anyone say a picture can say more then a 1000 words?

And there are many more…

Enjoy!
